this thing is a piece of crap. I bought 5 of them (with some other people) and NONE of the wince 5.0 software I could find would install, the firmware was dated 2007 and the manufacturer would not support any technical questions. It won't even connect to my wifi, but it connects to my friend's wifi. Don't waste you're money.

This has many versions depending on the factories who got the product for development, in China a product developer, just do that, prototypes and sell to many factories that do their own versions, what says in the sticker, is the factory that you should get support from, the maker of the prototypes do not give direct support on them sir.,

Windows ce 5 processes doesn't run from a kernal; Windows ce 6.0 does.

Also, it isn't a bug, it never had the feature. A "bug" implies that there is a non intentional limitation.

Also, like I said, because Windows CE 5.0 is open source, manufacturers can change it, and because this manufacturer PROBABLLY wanted an even more stripped down version, they removed the less important parts.

@WatchCharmedOnline I'm well aware of the limitations of ce. My point is that the ce kernel has bugs and the manufacturer won't support it. Last I checked the website for the manufacturer was down. I've bought other devices running ce 5 and had no problems at all, all arm devices.
