Starring Sam Rockwell, Matt Berry, Robin Chalk, Dominique McElligott and Kevin Spacey as the robot.

A truly unique film:
It is the near future. Astronaut Sam Bell is living on the far side of the moon, completing a three-year contract with Lunar Industries to mine Earths primary source of energy, Helium-3. It is a lonely job, made harder by a broken satellite that allows no live communications home. Taped messages are all Sam can send and receive. Thankfully, his time on the moon is nearly over, and Sam will be reunited with his wife, Tess, and their three-year-old daughter, Eve, in only a few short weeks. Finally, he will leave the isolation of Sarang, the moon base that has been his home for so long, and he will finally have someone to talk to beyond Gerty, the bases well-intentioned, but rather uncomplicated computer.

Directed by Duncan Jones.

  • @TJIRISH44 FU You want to keep paying for sh_t at theaters? Only way Hollywood make better films is to quit handing them $. Look at top 5 box office: Underworld Awakening. A sequel & worth seeing only to look at Kate Beckinsale. Red Tails? I saw that tuskegee movie already 2 dif films. Contraband? Dumb Walberg action flick. He made this for easy $. Extremely Loud? Yeah I wanna see a film about kid dealing with dad dying on 9-11. Beauty & Beast in 3D. Good film. I saw it 10 years ago.

  • @ShArpSh0t Eat me

  • @peeorpooable Don't feed the troll.

  • @TylerDz1701 go fuk yuour cat. how bout that for a review...

  • @TJIRISH44 Oh thats really cool. I've never seen 2001 and I don't really want to, but I knew of the evil robot mostly from the Simpsons spoof episode haha.

  • @PezMan007 I actually read a review and Dir Jones commented that was part of narrative of film. Everyone know's what happened in 2001 a space Odyssey with Hal. Duncan played off fact people would think the robot was evil.

  • "you need to get laid buddy!" :]

  • I recommended this film and saw it at Independent theater. For some reason alot of people I know watched it were not that impressed. You must understand this film was made for $5 million budget. It is an independent film. It was not widely released. In fact Duncan Jones the director showed it at a screening at NASA! It is an entertaining, thought provoking intelligent film. Not a Commercial feature made & dumbed down for mass audiences. Which is why I liked it. Jones is making lrger films now.

  • who came here after watching the new alien: colonial marines trailer

  • I just finished watching this movie, and I whole heartedly recommend it, absolutely brilliant!
