  • It's so cool to follow the progress of this young man and hear his singing improve so markedly every time a new video is posted!

  • Thank you! Hopefully I will post some of the pieces of "The Magic Flute" and also some of his Sophomore Recital.

Thank you so much for your kind comments. I will let him know.

  • An excellent approach to this music and of course the perfect voice for this music. A slightly slower tempo at times would be better - but that may be the musical director's/piano accompanist's fault. The set is pretty impressive certainly the cherry tree - it has a mind of its own. But a thoughtful performance from the human participants they both communicate.

"belllla" .. and other words, particularly the double consonants ... or you'll sound like a gringo! bravo -- excellent. Sing what you want -- just support the voice, and don't modify it to adapt to a role.... bravo! Keep up the good work. if you come to South Florida -- avisame.

  • This young tenor has an innate musicality, which cannot be taught. Now, don't rely on that going forward and make sure to work harder than your colleagues. This voice has tremendous potential! Also, be VERY careful to not sing arias and roles too heavy too soon; don't be tempted, even with your vocal color. Sing within the confines of your instrument at all times. Light Verdi (Fenton, Alfredo), Very light Puccini(Rinuccio), Donizetti and Bellini songs, not arias all the time.

    Good luck!!

  • yes i do, quite a few now actually. Come April 1st I will have posted "Dalla Sua Pace", "Why God Why", and my Magic Flute scenes (translation by Andrew Porter.) I am so greatly looking forward to seeing him as Tamino so make sure to post if you can!
