In most city ,there are alot market call little Italy , litle Bombay ,Portuge ...or litle Saigon .when the chef cook , need somthing spice for the food ,or for the food they love to eat . they can not find in Italy or Bombay market or in the super market .Only in their community market .That why the market open in their community .that the part of it

You're an ignorant person aren't you? The town was occupied by Chinese over 100 years, therefore there's no such thing as "Vietnamese Market." Please get your facts straight.
Everyone calm down. Let's just assume no one here is a communist sympathizer or a total fucking rube.
I called it "Chinatown" because that is what it's called in the guidebooks and what the cabbie called it. It means the same thing "Chinatown" means in countless U.S. cities. It's a way of setting it apart from the hundreds of other markets. Did you really expect me to get in a cab in Saigon and say "Take me to the 'Vietnamese Market' please! You know? The one that sells noodle bowls."
