  • does that bow have a letoff?

  • @Sk8RJOSH94: Yes it does, you can choose from 40, 50, 65 and 80% let off at any given draw length!

  • My con is that those bows are expensive, for the rest.. .MAN what a great bow !!!

A guy at my archery club has one, and he loves it as much as i want one!

A question though: the guy i know says the Oneida isn't too accurate... Is this true, or can you actually shoot faily accurate with it, i.e. competition style?

And can you mount stabilizers on it?

    Thanks, Nax

  • @NaxTactical

The Oneida is as accurate as any other bow out there!

  • @NaxTactical

The Oneida bow is as accurate as any other bow.

They have all the same mounting holes as all the other bows.

Check for used Oneidas, then you will get one att a good prize.

  • @NaxTactical i have one of these bows aand they are extreamly accurate i can shoot quarters at twenty yds your friend must not have his set up right and yess you can mount stableizers on it

  • loudest bows I ever heard...

  • I've owned a lot of bows most of the big names... The one thing about the oneida is the power it produces!!! Not really high on the fps.. But shoot one next to a high # bow and it will throw the same arrow in deeper every time at a lower # that and the it's really a smooth draw... I don't like the size and it just sucks in a stand.. Hurts the leg a little..

  • I shoot an Oneida Strike Eagle made in 1991. Read the owners manual and you can tune and perform any maintenance yourself. Anyone with any moderate skill level can take care of their own bow regardless of manufacturer. Oneida's are fast, accurate and high qualtiy. Those that slam other bow's are simply people with a singular loyalty. Too bad for them. Mine's accounted for a game animal each year I've owned it.

  • @stevenlongcox Really! It's an awesome looking compound/traditional bow. Even though i am strictly compoundbow.

  • The new ones are quieter than the new wheel bows!

They have designed a new dampening system that works great!
