I have only seen music this good fit so perfectly with a show this good only three times before: Air, Clannad, and Kanon; the creators of which were Key. Imagine my surprise when I found out that Angel Beats was made by Key as well. One of the best shows I have ever seen. I hope Key continues to make such beautiful animes such as this.

@LightningEdge12 Key doesn't make animes, they make visual novels(games) which get made into anime. Except Angel Beats! which was made without a game before, but Jun Maeda wrote the script and key collaborated with P.A. Works to make the naime

Otonashi is such a foil to Tachibana, and their respective character songs are similar. Hers is quiet and touching, his is upbeat and strong...It's almost poetic. Except with music.

Every time when I listen to this song, my heart burst in thousands of pieces. I cry every time. It's remind me to moments and feelings in my past and present. All my friends, although I’ve never seen them... they have support me in many situations. I cry from joy... I love every one of them!! Thank you guys, for everything... Thank you... This sounds kind of weird, but this anime, or more these characters, more specifically Otonashi made me think about life and death very much. Since I didn't get to know his true nature, I wasn't even able to think of leaving my organs to somebody foreign. If an afterlife exist, I like to get thanked as well for not living as an useless person. Somehow strange runs in my head since I watched the last episode. Otonashi is not real, but has real personal qualities I seek for being like him.
