  • Right, but some newer film cameras rewind film automaticly after making 36th exposure and there is no leader that leaves out.

  • Not all cameras can do that.

  • Small suggestion? Why not rewind the film in-camera so the leader is left out? It's not that hard to do, and means it is much simpler to load onto the reel. No faffing around in the dark trying to pry open the canister, and fewer prints on the film too.

    Just my two cents
