Tornado Sirens, 3/2/08 (3) Sirens sound off 4 the night.

My very 1st Tornado Drill of the season. Didn't catch a Tornado, but you gotta admit It would've been cool to catch one at night during the lightning storms. Maybe next time I'll have some killer ass footage that's to DIE FOR ! -check me out next time-

Thats right, when people are in there house with the doors and windows shut they can't tell if thats one of their neighbors vacuuming or a siren.

agreed it is a whelen have one right by my house that ggoes off for like 30 seconds and then turns of while the other ones go for the 4 to 5 minutes

Brownsville-Haywood County, Tennessee we have 4 Whelen Vortexes 4 Federal Signal sirens total sirens 8 1of the 8 sirens is the oldest the oldest sirens is the old 3t22 its over 34 years old.

we have sirens from two companies 4 whelen vortex 4004's 4 federal signal sirens two newest sirens are the 2001-130's the other two the old 3t22 and EOWS-612 total sirens in the Brownsville-Haywood County, Tennessee area are 8 sirens in our siren system.
