Hello my friends. This is a video response to SurvivalMikes 1000 subscription Contest. http://www.youtube.com/user/survivalmike
Mike has asked us to show our Victorinox Swiss Army knifes in outdoor usage. So I took out my little red knife, shared a few things I know, and then some. ** : ) This is a wonderful challenge that showcases another great tool at a reasonable price for the Frugal Bushcrafter. : )

Congratulations Mike for your wonderful success and thank you so much for the wonderful challenge!

Many Thank yous to my good friend Mr. Dragon at http://www.youtube.com/user/SurviveN2 for the secret of the corkscrew that is not only a corkscrew. : )

  • @robertmccallum1 Hi Robert, Thank you so much for the wonderful compliments and please pardon me for not replying sooner. : ) I'm happy you like the ending, I normally wouldn't do that but luckily the Swiss Army knife is stainless steel. : ) Thanks again and I hope your having a wonderful week! : )

  • Great video Sara! Keep up the good work... btw this knife is a masterpiece... You can do thousand of things...

  • @Whitehunter151 Hi Charis, Thank you so much for the wonderful compliments and please pardon me for not replying sooner. I agree with you that these little knives are amazing little tools and I continue to learn more about them all the time. Thanks again and have a Happy Day. : )

  • You're certainly showing us how to go about things. Thanks for this demo. My little Cabello's knife, in my three items video is quite similar to this knife. Isn't as good quality as your knife, here, but it does similar things. Thanks Sara. You the 'outdoor' Woman.

  • @rainbowhiker Hi John, I fell behind on my mail and missed this comment. Thank you so much for the compliments. I've seen a couple of the Cabello's knives and really couldn't tell the difference except for the color. I would imagine their all about the same. Personally, I like mine over the Leatherman multitools because of the weight and because their much more comfortable in my hand and in my pocket. Thanks again and have a happy day my friend. : )

  • @1EXPERTTRACKER Hi Lefty, I've been catching up on mail today and wished to thank you again for the nice compliments. I find having a knife strop to be so handy for all sorts of things, their light weight, plus me being a bit of a neat freak, they beat a pant leg for keeping the blades nice and sharp. Thanks again and I hope your having a Happy Day! : )

  • @inquisitivewolf Hello my friend and thank you so much for the wonderful compliments! Sorry I'm just now catching up on mail... The dumb pun really cuts me up. : D I might try it again now that I'm all healed up from this attempt. It's a good thing I had that cold mountain stream to keep the blood flow down.. : ) LOL's

Thanks again and Have a Happy Day! : )

  • @Ggreenvideos Hi Rich, Thank you so much for the wonderful compliments. You Tube is going through some silly times but I imagine it will work out eventually. : ) As you may know, I have a Leatherman Wave that was a really nice gift from a great You Tuber and its a awesome tool. But just between me and you (whispering) I like my Swiss army knife better. It just feels more comfortable and friendly in my hand and is not as heavy. Thanks again Curly Birch Buddy. : o)

  • See! This one never did show up for me :o( Damn YT!! It appears we have to search everyone's channels for a while eh! Very nice work with the little Vic :o) They are a very cool little tool I think. Very well made! Mine don't have a saw though :o( So I know Carry my leatherman wave :o) That was some great carving my friend. Great show :o)
