    sick look .. ... i own the automatic version great ride. Comfortable ride, handles well truly an adventure. my left knee is bad and i had a fear of it locking on me while trying to shift gears, or catching the 'hammi" cramps. Then i saw the nc700x. test drove it, and bought it

    Useless for real riding? I guess my 2400 mile trip I took last year wasn't a "real" ride then. Yes, the NC "robbed" me of 3 precious minutes at each fuel up to remove & retie my gear on the passenger seat. BIG DEAL. I will give up 3 minutes at every fuel up (when touring with gear on passenger seat) to gain close to 20 mpg compared to other bikes in its engine class.
