Im going to order a set for my Glock 29 soon

Man = I was just watchin the video & it really hurt my eyes. I saw your review on the Taurus 1911 & subed just on it's merits alone. I live in California & could not purchase one anyway but it was an exceptional review. Which 1911 could you recommend?? Also, I am thinking about trying the simple green. Thank You. Sincerely, JAMES.

@otomosix did they refund your money? I had to explain to the several times that I followed proper sight picture and that I do not have a trigger control problem.
-
@otomosix ...Then I put another 580 rounds using the XS Big Dot sights and consistently kept shooting low using their "proper sight picture". I shot fine if I raised the gun to show the entire metal of the front sight, though.
Finally, I swapped the XS Big Dots out for Meprolight TruDot 3-dot tritium sights and now I'm back to shooting fine again. What really sucks is I miss the XS Big Dots and wish they were just manufactured properly for a REAL proper sight picture (no metal).

@DAB0690 I had the exact same problem with my P30LS and XS Big Dot sights...was shooting consistently low unless I had the entire metal base of the front sight in my sight picture aligning with the rear sights. I called XS Big Dots to complain and they insisted it was MY problem.
The messed up thing about that? I've put over 3,000 rounds through my P30LS in just the past 2 months (no joke) with the 1st 1,100 rounds fired using HK's factory 3-dot sights with no accuracy issues.

@NerdHerderer when I and everyone else who shot my gun with the xs sights had to see the metal of the slide to hit at 10 yards I'm positive it was the sights. Especially when one, I picked up my dad's baretta and put a 1 inch group in the center of the target and two, when my original sights where put back on I and everyone else shot fine. I realize that most of the time it's not the sights but I may have received a bad set. It does happen.

@DAB0690 it's not the sights.

excellent P30 videos man. very thorough & informative. do you know of a 22 conversion kit for it??
-
@theshawner No it's not my trigger control because I shoot accurately with the stock sights, Glock fixed sights, and my dad's Baretta. Also, 4 other people shot low with them. The big dot was centered on the target also.
How do you like the xs sights? On my ruger I was shooting a one inch group six inches low at 10 yards (with the proper sight picture) so I sent it back to xs sights for a refund. I loved the sight picture though so I was disappointed.

@DAB0690 Without being there I'm guessing you have a problem with trigger control. Your sights aren't off. I have the same problem when I spazz out on the trigger. It takes practice but a good instructor can help you fix the six o'clock push.

HAHAHAH shooting at people with lab coats! Nice vid man, can't wait to get my P30. And I might be the only dude in the world that likes the stock sights. But I am looking at those same sights, this vid helped me alot.

@navyman8903 Yeah I was a bit skeptical about spending money on new sights when the stockers work fine, but now I am really glad I got the XS Big Dots, they made a HUGE difference for me at least. Your HK45 videos are excellent BTW. Have fun be safe!
