To know for sure if your nanny is bread is get a vet to run a blood test. The 1st two and half months is hard to detect. She will slowly get bigger during the 150 days of gestation period. 24 hours before birthing, her tail end spine bone will stick up as the ligaments releases via her hormones. Hope this helps.

@writeabove1 Both! Goats give you milk, meat(if your not squeamish) and they mow your lawn and fertilize it at the same time! Chickens give you eggs and meat + they eat your scraps, mow your lawn and fertilize it too!!

i have four chickens in my city lot, they are so much fun and lay lots of great eggs. i would like to got two dairy goats in the future but would like to have pasture to graise them on, guess i need to move.....

I purchased a nanny goat about 3 weeks ago from a local auction. I was told she was bread she looked bread. My wife said she could feel a baby... but now I just don't know for sure.. is there a positive way to tell if a goat is bread ? Thank you very muchI!

it is a total shame on the US politicians for making this small scale farming illegal , after the 2012 election ,the laws (s-510 bill) will be reinforced and implemented across USA this make it a crime to grow, sell or share with friends any home grown vegetables, seeds or live stock, pls people ,,join senator RON PAUL to abolish the s-510 bill ,

Cold you please tell me how big your yard is? 1/2 an acre? How far a your from the city? We love to have something like your place but since we live in the city, I think it would be impossible. :(
