@crazybeavers155 In my opinion I think they should ban the high pitch alarms because it should be against the law to have a smoke alarm that may not wake everyone. All of them should either have the squealer horn or the mechanical buzzer. They're more reliable to wake a child. Hopefully a lawer or someone will see this and pass this law i think should be passed.

Kids should watch this too. Parents should tell their kids that they don't wake up to smoke alarms. That could be the problem. I did it to my cousin when she was sleeping and she didn't wake up. Then I told her she didn't wake up to the smoke detector recording that I played and showed her this video. Then I played the recording again when she was sleeping and she woke up. SO THATS PART OF THE PROBLEN IS THAT PARENTS PANIC A WHOLE BUNCH AND NEVER TELL THEIR KIDS!!!!! KIDS SHOULD KNOW THIS!!!!!!!

because the high picth alarms are no good because old ppl and young chidern sleep longer than other ppl low picth alarm works better then high picth one

i am a hevey sleeper once the alarm went off and my mom was pissed caused i did not hear it, i still dont know why i wont wake, i bet the amplitude is noyt loude enough, i thing all residental housing should have a commercial fire alarm system in it , (exept for the part that automaticaly cally 911)
