Well it may just win over the anime fans planning a trip to Japan. It is certainly a less "common" (read "common" as meaning "easy for the majority of audiences to digest, but utterly bland") take on international advertisement. An appropriate use of the unique, over-the-top flair that only Japanese animation can deliver. I commend them with having the guts to release a commercial like this.
