  • I like to use McIntosh Apples - you can use any apple.

Delicious Apples make a nice sauce. Sometimes I like to put about a cup of canned tart cherries in my applesauce - then add a little extra sugar - very tasty!

  • Just slicing the apples in water and washing doesn't seem to take away the flavor - baking the apples (with skins on) is very tasty too and might keep more of the vitimins.

  • can i make applesauce with green apples?

  • Yes, That should be delicious - may need more sugar.

  • i love these videos, you should have a REAL cooking show, you never run out of things to talk about.. which is a good thing for cooking shows! and yes kids DO love applesauce (im 13 and i LOVE all cooking shows) :D bye

  • Thank you so much! You are very wise to be interested in cooking because everyone eats, and knowing how to make food taste good is a talent that all can appreciate. All good wishes!
