I volunteered to go to Iraq in 20003. I was involved in a horrible accident, which left me a double amputee. I first met Governor Romney during my recovery at Walter Reed. He took a personal interest in one soldier's story and he wanted to know how he could help. Romney worked with a charity to build special homes for severely injured veterans. The Mitt Romney I know cares deeply about people who are struggling. Mitt Romney helped make a huge difference in my life.

So Obama doesn't care for our veterans? Another huge RNC lie. As to using our military's heroic deeds for political advantage: shame on you Mitt draft dodger Romney. Romney said he was too too important to help his nation in war time and instead he hid out in French resorts for years doing "missionary work". Romney cannot possibly claim now that his understanding of heroic military sacrifice is a reason to elect him. He does understand the risk, and he knows other people need to take that risk.
