What happened when we needed roads? People built them, and they manage better and safer roads today than the govt ones. What happened when we needed railroads? People built rails that outcompeted the govt ones. You say that contracts require federal oversight? Nonsense. They all purposefully AVOID it through arbitration. You think because a company is started by scratch by individuals putting in 80 hour weeks, with no safety net, and the govt buys from them... that makes them worse than what?

Do it. They are a venture capital org, and they own hundreds of companies.

They set up hundreds of separate funds that own different companies. It's a maze of such financial intricacy that it becomes nearly impossible to navigate.

For your own benefit, find out 10 companies they own. I don't care if you do, but it would really be interesting to you to find out if you really can do what you are saying you can do.

Tax breaks are not government money. Nothing is government money. Its Tax Payer money. Everything the government spends is taken from the citizens either through direct/indirect taxation or via the Inflation Tax (borrowing money now to pay back at some later date).

Even still he clearly received assistance from Government agencies, entities and organizations.

I just want to be clear - IT"S NOT THE GOVT's MONEY.

    IT'S OURS.

How many companies does Bain Capital own? right now? Without checking, tell me if you have purchased anything from a company currently owned by Bain capital?

Do you seriously think you can do that? You can't. Because you don't know.

The fallacy of perfect knowledge is alive and well.

Government cannot create anything without taking away from productive ends, so basically in order for the govt to build roads and ports they take this money from people that are BUILDING ON THEIR OWN in the first place, so the whole Obama argument is false.

And in most cases government takes and wastes, ex.: 6 trillion dollars in debt created by Obama equals 20 thousand dollars for every single individual living in this country, enough to pay the house mortgage of every middle-income family.

You described the problem to a T. The main difference is that when you elect a government, you have a better chance of changing the policies.

If you allow a purely free market, you really have no control over the direction of a massive corporation.

I mean, you don't even know what they own. Quick, name ten businesses owned by Bain capital.

The problem comes with regulatory capture. It's what lead to many of our problems in the Bush admin.

    So quitting isn't an option.
