SilentRaeth1, I'm guessing you do Amtgard?
In Belegarth, rather than using pool noodle or microcell tubes, weapons are often build using closed-cell camp pads and contact cement. This makes for more versatile weapon styles.
Belegarth has a "sufficient force" rule on hitting, meaning that weapons have to hit somewhat hard (A tap hit does not count in Belegarth). These weapons may not pass in Amtgard.
If you want to build one, go to geddon.org and look for Blue Sword instructions.

Ok sorry for being from different types of LARP groups, and not already knowing, how do you make the boffers so flat?
