That's exactily what Bally's Total Fitness did to me, they strong-armed me into a Lifetime Membership for 1,500.00+79.00 per year maintenance fee. They sat me down and hard sold me with all these promises of personal trainers, free locker and one towel per visit, yadda, yadda.

They really don't give a rat's ass who I am and the personal trainer who was late to my orentation said he took a weekend city college certification class and beyond that, knew nothing about body building.

I've never been back since that first week 3 years ago because, to be honest, I don't know what I'm doing there except wandering around the maze of nameless machines like a total idiot, nervously thumbing through my Bill Philips 'Body for Life' beginner's handbook looking like a real dweeb.
