what ?.........where are the peta lovers, complaining about all the cruelty going on here

@ejackson0723 - Yes, it is easier to say! Pluckers pluck the bird, which is the process of removing the feathers. Originally pluckers were all humans. (grin!) Now a simple mechanical device makes the process quicker and easierm for most anyway.

We gotta do 41 of these in a couple weeks gonna suck cause we have to pluck by hand but I got champion at the fair so they served me well I love my birds =]
Yes i agree - i am interested in this because basically i want to get back to grass roots - We have forgotten that meat is from animals that are on farms - not just something dressed pretty in plastic at your supermarket. I am moving from the big city and buying a farm - getting back to nature and for those that like to presume people that do this are uneducated. I am a Maintenance Engineer and have spend most of my adult life fixing and modified machinery worth MANY millions of dollars.

We produce more carbon from our food being shipped from all over the world than we do from our driving. Crazy. It's only been 100 years since we've been removed from the world of producing our own food. Not progress. I've got a masters, and yet, I am slowly building a world around sustainability. It's a better way.
