Leopard 10.5.2 starting from a USB HDD

An ordinary PC running Leopard 10.5.2 directly off an 80Gb WD USB Hard Disk drive. I've been trying for years doing this in earlier versions but it wasn't that easy. This one has CI/QE on my 8600GTS. It took me 1 hr time doing this with Kalyway's 10.5.1 & 10.5.2 combo updates. Essential when you have trouble with your 'real' installation. Can save you a format! PS: Sorry about the poor video quality, this is my first so don't expect too much. :)

This is an old vid now; there are a great deal of boot-loaders nowadays that do the trick. (Google for: RebelEFI or Chameleon bootloader) In my case, the boot option it's only via the BIOS. Cheers.

I installed iATKOS on my external Harddrive and I cant get my pc to boot from it! Can you please help?

Make sure that the external drive is set as a boot device from your BIOS. This can be a bit tricky; depends on what BIOS your motherboard is 'wearing'. If anything else fails disconnect all drives apart from the external one. This should do the trick.
