@itsjustme2919 - who said it was about the deficit? I've noticed SB5 opponents generally have major comprehension issues.
-
The deficit has nothing to do with SB 5. I am Republican and I know that. I also know I am voting no on issue 2!
-
@DrClaw77 I know he is consevative as they come and if HE is against it then that must surely mean there is a good reason. Kasich is giving Republicans and common sense a bad name. When asked why he pays his staff so much, Kasich says "Because it's hard to recruit the private sector to the public sector." Hmmm, so in other words, he admits the public sector gets paid less? HAHA so even he knows it!

@minutemanbob57 - In Spain, Denmark and Ireland, the average work weeks are 31 hours. France and Belgium, the average work week is 30 hours. And in the Netherlands and Norway, the average week is 27 hours. Thanks unions for fucking that up.
SB5 isn't about NOT HAVING public workers, it's about evening the playing field a little and making it easier to hire/keep better performing teachers.
"you could vote NO on issue 2, and hold POLITICIANS accountable for government waste." - Kasich IS a pol!!
-
"your an idiot" Wow, really? the only police you need are the grammar police.
-
Wow....Bill Cunningham is against Issue 2? LOL... this Issue 2 scam is going to backfire against Kasich and the out-of-Ohio groups that funded the move to pass the measure. We need our teachers. We need our public safety groups... and the state doesn't decide whether they are hired or fired... municipalities do. NO on Issue 2.

@Mandolin1944 their data is incorrect. He uses only the last years data to provide the pension he posts. I wrote the conversation we (buckeye institute and I) had to you but the characters remaining cut it off. He also shows that teachers get a SS benefit which is not the case. I will be penalized for mine (enough quarters). I saved a job leaving the private sector willingly (VRIF) to take that 43% increase in pay ($15,500 lose in salary and had to obttain a Master's degree (TAA money).
-
@HarryTruthman You actually put up an argument. Cutting Universities is fine with me. But why do we need more State and local government employees --except for firemen and police? As to paying them more -- why? The Buckeye Institute has proven that Ohio public employees already make 43% more on average -- including salaries and benefits than comparable workers in the private sector. We need private sector jobs. We need more jobs (= taxes) in the private sector in Ohio.

@HarryTruthman I AM very clever & you'er hopeless. QED (look it up). There are no banjos on my channel! Don't know the difference between a banjo and a mandolin? (ignorant!!). LMAO! At you -- not with you. All ya got is yer "flapping & slack" jaw bud! Don't worry about my days getting short midget! Dad's alive at 95, two grandparents made it over 100 (one to 106) and I still run 20 miles a week. How about you toad? Can you make it up a fight of stairs without resting? hahaaha
@minutemanbob57 If you don't think you can afford us anymore, don't send your kids to public schools, don't drive on a public road, and don't ever dial 911. There, now you can help save the goverment money. Or, you could vote NO on issue 2, and hold POLITICIANS accountable for government waste.
