Do you not know what an earmark is? An earmark is a public record of where the government spends YOUR money. So when you want to know where your tax dollars go to... you can find out.

Everything should be earmarked for transparency.

Ron Paul did not vote for the bill to pass. If the bill passes and he doesnt earmark what his state has forwarded to him, the money goes is STILL spend in bullshit elsewhere.

The media is spinning earmarks as bad when in fact they arent.

When the bill is introduced an amount of funds is designated to each state. Each state forwards their congressman where they would like the money to spend on in case the bill passes. ITS HIS JOB to earmark the projects requested by his state.

That other guy is trying to spin earmarks as something positive when it depends on what the money is being spent on as to whether it's something worthy or it's wasteful pork. Preventing wasteful pork spending kind of needs to be done BEFORE the money gets wasted and thrown down a rat hole, not afterwards.
