I used to watch the family film festival as a kid. Just like popeye and friends every sunday. Unless when the California Angels were playing then I would watch baseball.

When I was 5 my best friend was obsessed with Pippi. After the movies would air we had to reenact parts of the movie. One day I got sick of crying about Pippi going away with her father on the pirate ship. She came over to say "Hey! I'm staying" and I was supposed to hug her. Instead, I screamed "You were going to leave me!", pushed her down and ran away.

I will say that Pippi Longstocking kicks hearty ass. I'd rather my daughter be like Pippi than Paris.
