Siegfried trailer (Alex Alice)

Avant d'être une BD, "Siegfried" est un projet de film d'animation lancé par Alex Alice avec Matthieu Lauffray à la direction artistique, Claire Wendling sur les dessins d'animaux... Cet extrait, présenté pour rendre compte du résultat final de ce que serait le dessin animé, est disponible dans la version collector du premier tome de la bande-dessinée qui comprend 70 pages de bonus (peintures, croquis, interview).

One of the biggest problems there is with living in the U.S. IS THAT YOU DON'T GET TO SEE AWSOME FILMS LIKE THIS ONE! THIS FILM LOOKS AMAZING! I understand people think that animation should really be just for kids, but come on! This movie looks great!

Le troisième volume de la BD est sortie - toujours aussi géniale - mais rien de neuf sur le film !

So, Alex Alice just released (in November 2011) his third and last "comic" for his Siegfried trilogy. This means that a movie will not be released in 2011. Let's hope that he finds the funds to make a movie for his AWESOME comics by 2012, or later. I'm French so I easily bought his work, but I'm wondering if other European countries can too (apart from French Belgium and Switzerland). If there were a continental following, a real movie could be a possibility. So buy his damn comics!

J'aime bien cet imaginaire, comem s'il y avait au delà de toute cette mythologie des vérités symboliques... ça me fait penser aussi un peu à Thorgal en bd que j'adorais lire plus jeune, l'univers était aussi très mystique, Alex Alice a vraiment le talent de nous faire entrer dans des mondes fantastiques et mystérieux depuis Le Troisième Testament.
