  • Yes, they did this song with beautiful feeling and style. I agree that the choir, organist, and conductor should all be congratulated.

  • bella obra, bella intrepretación. Es increíble que una obra de ésta calidad no esté difundida como se merece. Felicito al Coro,Orquesta, Organista y por supuesto al Director

  • This Requiem is one of the most incredible peaces i´ve heard...

it´s like the sound of the paradise.

the voices of angels talking to us.

    Duruflé: awesome choral composer

  • Listening and having very fond memories of singing this in my travelling college choir. :)

  • i sang this requiem 2 summers ago. it was amazing. this was my favorite(:

  • Kyrie is a tremendous buzz to sing. Serene start, then lots of musical 'struggles' between the various parts, especially Sops & Altos. Climax is a 'stratospheric' soaring of the parts up there in rarefied air. What an exciting and joyful experience to soar in such harmony in this wonderful work. Ends in a lovely, calm resolution. Truly inspired stuff. And 'enchainez' (hope that's spelt right) to the flowing Introit beforehand - what a stroke of genius. What a privilege to sing.

  • Thank you. I will be singing this for the first time this summer, and here was my introduction to this marvelous music. Imagine.... Durufle on You Tube! How cool is that?!

  • this is beautiful, my high school tour choir is singing it, and kyrie is by far my favorite piece.

  • I only wish the sound quality of the recording was better. It's obvious that the music is played with much feeling.

  • This is beautiful! What a great sound! Thanks for posting :-)
