SOLAR FARE IS HERE

As Area:404 we developed a game called "Solar Fare" over a period of about 2 months. The game's specification can be summarized as "Crazy Taxi in Space" and required ragdoll physics, advanced graphics (GLSL), audio and basic game play including high scores. Given only 8 weeks of development, we decided to use Tortoise SVN with Google Code to manage our code base, and allowed each team member to work on their own version of the game. With a strict scrum system we were able to have continual game progress and not have any major conflicts. This is a video of the latest version of the game.
