I guess you feel the correct placement ("l'imposto vocale", right?) even in that posture, due to your breath control. I know a quote in Italian: "Chi respira bene canta bene."

Been doing it about a week and I still sound like a teenage going thru puberty the way my voice cracks when I try to bring in the chest resonance.

Good video. This is indeed a powerful exercise, especially for blending the registers and recognizing mixed voice. When I do this, I have trouble blending in (and blending out) the chest resonance. I get a strange combination of "register fighting" for control rather than a nice smooth transition which you have. Do you have any suggestions?
