@Anthony1525 Well in California at least .... California it's not pro-gun nor pro-life . So you really can't elect a candidate in a state like this.. This is why he have Conservative Democrats and Liberal Republicans. And California can not elect a Conservative right wing candidate... Republicans have good Ideas when comes about taxes but social issues they suck.. btw Gov. Arnold was more like a moderate. not conservative

BTW, the proposal I make below (letting voters decide on raising OR lowering current taxes) HAS been presented to Jerry Brown and the Democrat leadership. They rejected it as "irresponsible."

ENOUGH! Let’s vote on California taxes.

But let’s let the voters have REAL choice. Put TWO measures on the ballot.

1. Governor Brown’s proposed “temporary” five year multiple-tax raise (it is NOT a tax extension — all the taxes will have expired before it gets to the ballot — the previous income tax increase expired 1 January).

2. A second measure to REDUCE state taxes by roughly the same amount.

Really CA Republican party would soon be extinct .... They would never win the Governor's Mansion or legislature ever again if they don't become more Moderate.. And be Pro. Gay, Pro Gun Control, Pro-choice, Pro-Immigration, Pro-Climate Change. And if they do that. they would be able to Win elections and be relevant again in California..
