I have never heard of an eberspacher start a fire on a fairline. And on mine it is placed well back, so don't know where you got that info. What i DO know is Sealines have been much more prone to hull cracks than Fairlines. By the way, i wonder how you can spot a stress fracture on the hull on a 240p shaky video. If you can show me any factual data supporting what you are saying, please do.
Sealine make good boats, but I very much doubt your statements on Fairline.
I agree, the sealine make is very well known and very well made. Also if you look very closely you can see a stress fracture on the hull. This would never be a problem on a sealine... Also be aware that on fairline boats the eberspacher heater is placed too far forwards and can overheat and start a fire. YOU SHOULD HAVE CHOSEN MORE CAREFULLY
It looks like a really nice boat! Although it does look like it could topple over when it comes through the wash of the other boat. maybe the owner should have gone for a Sealine S38 I hear they are much better through the water.
