Ceramic kiln with home made veggie oil burner. Low pressure siphon nozzle working best (in this set up) at 25psi and oil at 70 degrees. 20 litres of veggie oil (wvo) used to achieve stoneware temp in this 150 liters kiln.

    @Ride84XL Tack. Olja innehåller mycket energi och mycket enklare brännare kan göra jobbet. Problemet är att få en brännare som fungerar på låga såväl som de höga effekterna som en keramikugn kräver. Hoppas du hittar din isolersten.

    You see everything except the small compressor that supply the air. Today I have the oil in a large barrel and use a small heating element to make ithe oil 30-40degrees

    Haha - grymt bygge det där. Såg det när jag letat runt på nätet var man kan få tag på stenar som tål höga temperaturer och samtidigt isolerar bra

    Jag visste inte att frityrolja gick att få att brinna sådär bra och varmt (det behövs väl 1200°C eller strax över för att bränna "stengods"), men visste att man kan göra "biodiesel" av det (som man kan köra dieselmotorer på). Det handlar väl om att få det finfördelat och att få på bra med luft.
