did you know: Chopin hated this piece? He composed it when he was just 24 and regretted it ever after.

At least he looks sincere? Like a child who is fascinated by his/her new discovery? I don't know. I prefer his performance over some other pianists who play with large movements and exaggerated expressions. I find more joy and honesty in simplicity. =)
@Ericrsteele true enough. I think a lot of piano players, including myself, have that problem. I guess in those situations, it's best to close your eyes and listen to the music.
clearly you dont play any instrument. you'd know that sometimes you cant help but stress other muscles than the ones your using. what if a dude stood with a blank stare while ripping a guitar solo? wheres the emotion?
Yundi Li always pulls the dumbest faces while he performs... I can understand that it's part of his performance, but he just comes across looking strange to me.
@AIYAism that is actually easy... muscle memory plus an internal "autopilot" system helps, you can't just sight read some of these pieces tho, the notes are odd, the rhythm actually isn't
I listened to this, and i was like: man this is easy. Later i took a look at the sheetmusic, and discovered that the left hand plays triplets while the right hand plays 16th notes. O.O
