@gmecomber: Yes that was the joke. I made it up because I remembered a long time ago when a black kid pushed past me at a zoo, and didn't like that I reprimanded his uncivilized behavior. He threatened to "whoop me", and I reminded him that the zoo always has room for another ape. I was scolded by my teacher, but it was worth it.

Notice how the cop quickly attempts to redirect the fact she is looting by implying YOU were looting? This is a tactic a lot of police (or anyone who gets caught), will employ in an effort to make you immediately leave the area, thus not further question why the THEY were looting. She wanted to *put the fear of God* in you, hoping you would just thank your lucky stars they didn't arrest you for merely being there, while they continue to push a cart around stealing whatever they want.

What do you expect. New Orleans was a city full of degenerates. They were told the Hurricane was bad, and chose to stay. They were told the levies could only withstand a Cat 3, and that Katrina was a 5. They live off the work of others, and scorn everyone when disaster strikes. Boo-hoo!
