This is the performance of the first movement of Darius Milhaud's "Suite Francaise" entitled "Normandie" by The Concordia College Band at Ted Mann Concert Hall at the University of Minnesota on their annual domestic tour. This performance took place on Wednesday, February 13th, 2008.
Just my opinion, but I think the flutes and clarinets are a bit too dominant in this interpretation...other than that its very good (:

It's nice. It's good interp. It's in tune relatively well.
It has a happiness - (this piece should have a happiness about it).
But there is about 5 percent lack of commitment, verve.
Tuba's and low basses should be much more bombastic and ...almost...
Remember this - picture this low basses - With this mov you are
the solid rock and sway. The solid rock and sway. And if you don't
mean business, no one else will.
