@DigbyCat That's not true at all. If it were, do you seriously think he'd retain 85% of his staff and train-up one chef, after another, after another so well.
He uses assertiveness and brutal honesty to get under people's skin, stop them from bullshitting and deluding themselves and forcing them to pull the best out of themselves.
If you truly saw him for what he was, you'd know he's a genuinely passionate, caring individual. And funny. He's not a bully, but pampering or pandering = fails.

I reckon DigbyCat and TheClusterCat were both restaurant owners at some point who were in trouble, called ramsay up for his help and either got it but still went bust or didnt get any help at all lol, sad times.......oh welll never mind! Plenty more places to eat! lol
