The BFM Fitting is uniquely suited for applications involving equipment in repetitive motion, such as vibration, oscillation, gyration, or reciprocating motion. Old fashioned flexible sleeves held by hose clamps have unavoidable wear points where the sleeve slips over the pipe, and where the clamp tightens against the sleeve.
