  • Yay, congrats!!

    ~Dina

  • i wish... a pillow? doh, i never thought of that... i discarded my pillow a year ago when i started yoga more seriously, but recently i started thinking that sleeping so flatly is not the best thing. especially on the side, instinctively roll up cover for support.

  • Yep, you can always come up with a use for a pillow, even if its to stop you from crashing to the floor in Crow!

  • Ha! You crack me up. Throwing pillows and getting wild with the crow pose!

  • You are so much fun and I'm glad I found your videos! I can only seem to do one or two at the most per day for a few seconds, but imagine as time goes by I'll be able to hold that one or two for a much longer period. Thank you for sharing.

  • I ate it :(

  • @tegg23 Hi there. That's common in the Crow esp. for men. You can also try it with the knees on the outside of the arms and squeeze the legs in as you go into it. That uses more leg and strength, I find it harder.

I would check with your doctor to make sure there aren't any types of poses in yoga you should avoid, ie, headstand, etc. Otherwise, just take it where you are, keep practicing and you'll be surprised where you get! And just have fun!

  • hi thanks for video, I started trying this about 3 weeks ago using a book. your explaination is great...I get my knees to armpits but when i put more weight onto hands my knees seem to slip down and open as i prepare to lift and it all a bit open and messy any tips.

just a side note to others I started yoga last year at 41 I have neuropathy, really is possible for yoga to be for anyone at any ability or age just work comfortbly with what you have and you get more in return.

  • Great video!
