  • Could there be a problem with the power supply? Because I just did the whole process of dissassembly and reflowing and still no success. I'm sorry, I know this is just a prevention vid, but I really want to get my PS3 working again.

  • @Whatheflip13 THIS IS A PREVENTION VIDEO.... NOT A REPAIR VIDEO.

No, it's not the power supply.

  • What size Security bit screw driver did you use? I don't want to have to do that whole "using a flat head" process......

  • @Kregadrekahrn Torx-10

  • my playstation doesn't have memory card slots o.o i bought it in 6-7th month in 2010

  • @MrHaaad It's a model G or H, probably. It's a little easier to disassemble than the E model in my videos.

  • @Tom72536 Check for a Slim disassembly vid on youtube. You'll remove 7 silver philips head screws and 3 or 4 black torx screws.

  • How to do I bring the top off if you have a playstation 3 Slim?

  • @Born2BeAwesome The cover can get sticky over the years. Try running a credit card around the edge of the outer cover, to be sure it's free.

  • my cover wont slide off :(
