@matts4290 At our garage only a few Thomases have the new Cummins in them. All our 'birds and Freightliners have Cats and they all (except a few with the different starters) crank longer than the bus I drive, a 2003 IC with a CE300. Not only that but (since it's direct injection) there are times I just twist that key the whole way (those Freightliners are PICKY on that; you have to wait a few seconds at on! UGH) because I know it's gonna start!

Besides the sound of the idle, I could tell this was a cummins by the lack of wait to start light time, and the short length of starter engage.
