New Labour force up UK petrol prices to a new record (01Apr10)

Thanks to New Labour's deliberate smashing of the value of the UK Pound (devaluation), and a record breaking run of tax rises, the price of petrol and diesel in the UK reach eye watering levels, actually, well over the amount they were when there were fuel protests that ground the UK to a virtual halt a few years earlier, also under New Labour.

When you tank up your car, remember it is New Labour's deliberate policies that have lead to this record breaking price. MOST of the price of petrol and diesel is taxes, the oil companies do not get much profit.
