@galarte5017 I agree with you but I feel that negative people can also have a negative affect on you just as you might in time have a positive affect on them. I have a friend bless her heart she can never say anything positive no matter what it can be as simple as the weather or a new light fixture pick anything you can have a conversation about and she has something negative to say when you try and show her the positive in things she berates you and goes back to negative. Its a no win win

i think one should always put oneself in the other persons place. one should not judge, because we don't know what the person has lived to make himself or herself negative. i have a friend which i understand why she's negative and even though she's that way i just keep being me and i respect her. in the short time that we have been friends she has really changed and has began to be a bit more positve. it works! try it! do be patient and be honest though, don't pretend.
