  • Pure Passion, They are evolving with time, Anathema from a general death dorm has now evolved to a very diverse rock band, especially using more alternative rock riffs. But one thing remains the same. The Magic that the band creates, it transcendent the true listener(one could understand them)to the domain of his hindsight.. Hats off Anathema- The enlightening curse.

  • even if they were no lyrics in this song,u think that music speaks to u!

Anathema's songs are still simple but emotional du to their lyrics. Melodies are still good and "catchy".

It's just too bad that they don't play their old songs (Pentecost III, Eternity, Serenades, Silent Enigma) live. It has nothing to do with selling out, though. They just evolved into another band.

You shouldn't compare them to Metallica, because they have nothing in common, and because Anathema didn't release St Anger if you know what I mean.

I like both old and new Anathema. It's just not the same thing. You can't really compare both. I saw them live on the 20th February and didnt play songs from Eternity or before.

To me, they still have this "magic" : their songs still have that touch. Their songwriting is still great : simple but emotional lyrics, good melodies.

You shouldn't compare them to Metallica. Anathema never went mainstream and didn't release St Anger.

  • Fucking Awesome!!
