Listen guys, I needed clips that were semi-school friendly. And as for the "Why wasn't [horror movie] mentioned?" comments, I did this at 4 in the freaking morning! I was tired, so I thought of the first movies that came to mind. And yes, I am biased against Evil Dead. I love it too much to not give it #1.

i watched pet cemetary for the first time when i was about 4, and i crawled out of the room crying to my mom. i also had nightmares for about a week and i still cant watch the part where the kid slices through the old dudes heel without covering my eyes... *shudder*

Its a fair list, there are other things out there better than Saw. The only argument against your list is that it is All American. Nothing Japanese, British, Canadian, Spanish or Italian. There is a world of horror and people pick there top ten from their own backyard.
