  • Hey, just wondering, how big is that tank? and nice vid

  • @emosparky 30 gallons, old tank

  • That tank is so small for an Oscar. What is it 30 gallons? 1 Oscar should be kept in nothing smaller than a 55 gallon because they can get 17 inches long.

  • @1992pattrow they get bigger in the wild or in really huge tanks, is the 125 gallon tank shown all over youtube big enough?

  • ok i just cleaned my tank and the cartridges. my oscar, buttakoferi, convict and pleco seem to be ok. i can get cycle from tha store rite. is it pricey?

  • @MrJTBANG you can find it in fish stores or pet stores, not everywhere, online it's easy to find

    yeah it's pricey

  • worf is lovely, I kept oscars for years the biggest one was in a tank of his own and I used to put a little plastic football in with him - he had great fun with it taking it up to the top and rolling it around the tank

  • @SPACEDMADNESS42 haha so true, 90% of the videos are going to have an arrogant comment "this tank is too small for this fish". it gets seeing it on almost every video.

  • @1992pattrow so a 17inch fish should be kept in a 12inch wide tank ehh? 50 gallon breeders work way better tank should be 18 inches wide atleast

  • cool

  • did you pet your fish at 20 seconds our was that just me if you did thats pretty bad ass

  • @SPACEDMADNESS42

Ya that is a great size for an Oscar. Actually I have my 3 Oscars in a 125 gallon(with other South American Cichlids). One Oscar does not need a tank that big though. Look on craigslist(dot)org I always see 55 gallons and 100+ gallon aquariums on there really cheap(I bought my 125 gallon on craigslist for $175).
