Simple balancing of two 90mm fans. I first use a quality German-made WeMoTec Midi Pro 90mm rotor as a reference, to test the quality of the balancers.
The second CS 12-bl fan was previously balanced in the usual way by using thin small strips of red electrical tape, applied to the inside of the hub.
My test first uses an 8-yr old home-made balancer with a true $3 (Prather or Thunder Tiger, from Tower Hobbies) finger prop balancer steel shaft, and later the new HK "Extreme accuracy Prop/Rotor balancer" SK-2050.
The shaft on the latter does not seem the straightest, nevertheless the balancer seems to work ok on these larger fans, not too bad for $16..
In the next version they should try to improve on the 3mm shaft and make the whole thing a bit straighter.

Thanks ! Yes I used Hysol, but any quality slow cure epoxy with a thickening agent would work. The fan needs to be re-balanced after that.
