  • This laptop comes with a nVIDIA GeForce GT 525M graphics card. It is decent, but a bit weaker than what I had hoped for:

    Crysis 2 @ 1360x768 - high: 25FPS

    Star Craft II @ 1360x768 - high: 31FPS

    Metro 2033 @ 1600x900 - high, DX10, AAA, 4xAF: 13FPS

The tray-loading optical drive eliminates the possibility for Blu-ray support as no such drives support that format as of today. A machine like this should take the next step and introduce that feature. Step up your game, DELL! :)

  • @allchangesintime how is it? (she might be my next love)

  • @GQstyless How can you hate Apple and Mac OS??

  • Fan is too loud! when it gets hot.

  • hey, should i take the i5 (with the fhd screen ofcourse) with an ssd or the i7 without one?

  • If Dell hired Mandark, does that mean Apple hired Dexter?

  • Do all you computer illiterates realize that you CAN install retail Mac OS X Snow Leopard on this machine and everything will work natively just like a macbook pro? Dell (garbage brand like HP) is knows to have same hardware components inside as MacBooks! So you can actually have 2 computers in one... Dual boot Windows 7 and Snow Leopard!

  • @GQstyless haha so tru

  • This will replace my old XPS M1530

  • I have received my 15z and actually already a replacement. I have spent countless hours with Dell tech support over a frequent bluescreen issue. I have isolated the problem to be a display driver issue. I am a Dell certified partner, As it stands the machine is barely usable. I cannot get anyone to help. I am redirected to India, and told they will send a replacement. its not a hardware problem its the optimus driver. its very unfortunate as this machine could be great
