in the studio recording New promise without the music on top. He probably uses triggers for the recording side but at least u can hear him without triggers.

  • rumour has it, raymond recorded all of his songs in one take. instead of multiple recordings and cut and paste mistakes. most drummer would find it hard to nail recordings in one take

  • @t0ko yeah of course, they play the songs all over the world at concerts, festivals and in huge stadions, but they can't do it in studio. don't talk about stuff you don't understand. in studio it's all about sound and if you are not satisfied at the first take you do it again. btw: his stuff isn't that hard and i heard a few mistakes, so even he will do a few parts again.

  • Hey mr smart guy, I didnt remember saying that is was 100% true. hence the "rumour has it". And besides, apart from the OH mics, hihats and ride mics. You can easily fix a mistake up with the triggers in the midi editor.

  • @911bambam1 well i think you are an idiot to judge a drummer on one song. you should listen to alot more of his work and then you will appreciate his skills. typical slipnot lovers and their naive ways:))

  • @t0ko I think what people mean by one take is that the drummer will play the song in its entirety. But it doesn't mean that is has to be the first take... I remember recording once and I recorded in one takes because I don't believe in punching in. But that meant having to do each song for at least 2 hours because one small mistake is all it takes to go all the way from the top.

  • @t0ko lololol i agree. im not a huge fan of ray but at the same time joey jordison is overrated. Jordison has hands and hes very fast, but his playing style is very plain, there's almost no originality in his work.

  • @t0ko whoa, hey. i like slipknot a lot and im not like that at all :/

  • @t0ko yeah, thats not too surprising, fear factory's drumming isnt too difficult at all

  • Great!!!

  • a fan between his legs... like a baws!

  • @t0ko not really that hard lol

  • All in foots nothing in hands
