  • @OpenAirOutreach - Some Street Preachers do take it too far, like Ruben

Isreal and his Bible Believers, or the Westboro Baptist Church. WBC pushes

the Boundary of Free Speech by Inciting Violence, and when People Respond,

they are called Violent Rebels. People even have thrown stuff at the WBC.

  • @naulon1 Of course, in the privacy of their own home. But free speech is protected in PUBLIC.

  • @OpenAirOutreach There are laws to protect the privacy of others. Lots of them.

  • @OpenAirOutreach No it's not, because they aren't stopping you for your speech content.

  • @OpenAirOutreach No it isn't. Free speech isn't about "where" you preach its about "what" you preach. You have the freedom to preach any opinion you want and can't be arrested for the content even if it's anti-establishment. The law protects you to as to the content. It is not nor ever has been about "where" and "when" you preach. You can't disturb the peace at night time for instance and you can't stand in front of your neighbors house all day harass them. They are not free speech issues.

  • @naulon1 The question of when and where or appropiateness is a matter of preference and opinion. There are no laws stating when and where. The law rather gives you freedom of speech period.

  • @naulon1 Anytime that you are told that you cannot speak in public is an infringment upon free speech, plain and simple.

  • @naulon1 If somebody tells you, "You cannot preach here" then they are infringing upon freedom of speech. What do you think infringing free speech would look like, if not some authority telling you that you cannot speak here??

  • @OpenAirOutreach It's not about free speech. No one is saying you can't preach. It's about appropriateness, when and where. When someone tells you it's not appropriate to preach here and now and asks you to find a different place or come back later he isn't infringing on your free speech. Why is it you can't tell the difference?

  • @naulon1 Anywhere that is public and that has people is a good place for free speech
