Nancy Garrido was a Jehovah's Witness at the time of meeting Phillip Garrido while visiting prison. Nancy filmed children at playgrounds with her husband Phillip, eventually taking part in the kidnapping and sexual abuse of Joycee Dugard for the next 18 years.

This fits the profile of many in the congregations. All Jehovah's Witnesses really require is that you keep a clean image. The dirty stuff is done behind closed doors and your supposed to pretend that none of it happens. If a woman is mistreated you haven't been submissive enough to your "head" husband and it's viewed as probably your fault. At least this Jehovah's Witness pedophile (Nancy Garrido) was jailed. One less of them on the street to endanger my daughters. I let my dogs out everytime the JW's come by...that keeps them away. @pushthehills The JW's I've known were always pretty outrageous outside kingdom hall walls. They drank, smoked, told filthy jokes. None of which are a problem for me. But when I was picked up by two JW evangelists and given a ride to work, while being evangelized to, I had to laugh. "Do the two of you not realize your own congregation work with me, and on a daily basis show me pornographic cartoons on their cell phones?". Look at Michael Jackson.
