I don't know where you heard gill net's don't catch red fish,they do but your supposed to throw them back. And i think you should be able to keep them,there's definitely not a shortage in the population ,all your doing is complaing till you put some people out of business,and hurt our economy more.Gill neting is fun and provides lot's of jobs for many Americans. You need to grow up and look at the facts it's a good source of income for many americans. im 13 and i know more than you duche bag

@MrKb1111111 Well seeing as how you know more than me let's just break it down one step at a time. 1. I know how to spell (complaing, neting, duche) 2. I know how to use a semi colon. 3. I know how to space a paragraph and hence a sentence. 4. It does NOT provide jobs for lots of Americans and in fact there are so few people actually doing it now that it's not really a viable means of even providing fish for market. 5. I also know how to use an apostrophe or not use one.

@Samabo2 Jesus was in fact NOT a fisherman. He actually told Peter to leave his nets behind and Peter was only too glad to do so because he figured following the Son around the desert was way preferable to trying to make a crappy living as a commercial fisherman.

gill netting is something undertaken by people who are irresponsible to begin with. the net just amplifies this personality flaw. the fish here are getting their butts kicked by someone who bought a net and then forgot about it......it's just mindless. if you must do it, at least tend the net and understand the area and types of fish you are catching. exercise some judgement, please.
